We speak with Johanna Bolton at ASC Studios Ealing Road (Alperton) ahead of the exhibition ‘Blush’ at ASC Gallery.

Johanna Bolton works with sculpture, photography and performance, in various combinations.

Since graduating from Chelsea in 2014, Johanna has participated in a number of group shows, events and residencies, her first solo show was in 2018 at Borough Road Gallery. Recent projects include a residency at Kew Gardens Herbarium, a commission for the Bomberg Archive at London South Bank University and an exhibition at Gerlesborgs Konsthall in Sweden. In 2021, Johanna received the Gilbert Bayes Award from the Royal Society of Sculptors.
