The American Society of Cinematographers, the ASC, is Hollywood’s OLDEST continuously operating organization. This is the first truly open to the public event at the Society’s Historical Clubhouse since the Covid outbreak. One of the many highlights for visitors is if they own a legendary ASC MANUAL the ASC Directors of Photography will sign their treasured reference guides! You can see many of the passionate cinematography fans lining up to purchase the newest copy of the Manual that just came out a few months ago. These clips were shot about 30 minutes after the event opened and was just the tip of the iceberg to the attendance that came later. For those that are interested the drone used was a MINI PRO 3, a very tiny „travel drone“, All shots were NEVER flown over people per best practices and FAA regulations.
