a journey through the body under the veil of anonymity and desire, ‚anonymous.‘ explores the raw edges of identity, sexuality, and shame. it follows the double life of a man who, cloaked in the expectations of conventional masculinity, surrenders to his hidden desires within the clandestine world of cruising. his heartbeat, a relentless drumming, mirrors the anxiety and adrenaline of his secret escapades.

the man’s headpiece, a chainmail armour providing him with anonymity and symbolising a moral compass viewed through the prism of religion. the weight of it referencing the emotional burden of his double existence, and providing the man with anonymity. this narrative dances with the abject, inviting viewers to share in the discomfort, the unease, and the pulse of forbidden longing.
