Preah Khan is probably one of the least visited temples in Angkor. At the same time, it is one of the most impressive. The term „temple“ is not particularly suited to this architectural complex, since in fact it is a small town spread over 56 hectares, a space which also included religious buildings, including a university. Nearly 15,000 people lived there and this center employed tens of thousands of people around, among the farmers who provided the food necessary for life in Preah Khan.
