FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Micheal Haran studied Fine Art at The Slade School of Fine Art from September 1989 to December 1991. He practised as an artist in the 1990’s before moving into Interior Design and property renovation. In 2012, Micheal moved to Iquitos in the Peru Amazon to study Plant Spirit Shamanism where he became a father to his son, who was born there.

After 2.5 years in Amazonia, he returned to London. He started to work full time as an artist again in 2018. His work is primarily concerned with emotional and spiritual connections and realities through motion, colour and form in a semi-abstract hybrid manner. Micheal has travelled extensively throughout his life and he often tries to capture feeling of other worldly places and takes great inspiration from surrealism, abstract expressionism and biomorphic sculpture amongst others… . . Rapid motion, archeological mysteries and clever wordplay are also predominant themes.

Michael has always been fascinated by early Beat writers such as Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs, whose constant travel, jazz, poetry, literature, and spiritual quests were of the utmost importance.
