We met at a 21st through one of our groomsmen, and we both didn’t know the birthday girl so we both decided to get super drunk as it was awkward not knowing anyone! We danced like idiots and then we decided to go back to my flat, once we got there we started talking and laughing, the more we sobered up the more we realised how similar we were and we shared all our deepest secrets, and I had never laughed so much in my life! I felt like he must be stalking me to find out all my favourite movies and songs and life values and sense of humour, at one point he was making me laugh so much that I blurted out ‘I love you!’ and somehow he didn’t run for the hills, though he still teases me about it. The more we talked the more I felt myself falling head over heels for him. We laughed and talked for so long that before we knew it it was 1pm the next day! I was afraid it was all an act, and he couldn’t be that perfect, but it is our 9 year anniversary in October and he is still my favourite person.
