Nighthawk Flight Systems, Inc. has announced that it is the new exclusive manufacturer and technical service provider for all legacy Sandel Avionics displays. Nighthawk asserts it is committed to carrying on Sandel’s tradition of quality, reliability, and value. Sandel’s legacy displays are renown for full-sunlight, edge-to-edge optical clarity, optional night-vision goggle compatibility, and flexible Smart I/O that interfaces with most legacy and modern avionics. Tamarack Aerospace exhibited a King Air 350 kitted-out with the company’s SMARTWING technology at Tarkio, Missouri’s Wing Nuts Flying Circus fly-in. Notwithstanding its whimsical appellation the Wing Nuts Flying Circus fly-in draws an august crowd of aviation luminaries, governmental administrators, and high-powered legislators—principal among whom is U.S. Representative Sam Graves. Talk about an optimistic outlook at a critical moment… With demand rebounding for international air travel following ongoing recovery in many domestic markets, Boeing is now projecting demand for more than 41,000 new airplanes through 2041, underscoring aviation industry resilience two years after the pandemic began. All this — and MORE in today’s episode of Airborne!!!
