Witness a series of locations that are tethered to each other through both the initial curse of superficial consumption and a subtle path to guide you. This film is designed with the hopes of freeing viewers of the layers of edits in audio and video that are known to frolic amidst contemporary media.
As contemporary viewers of film, we have become so accustomed to the artificiality of film, essentially surrendering ourselves to templates of colour and sound as well as a mould that has given us a fixed view of film. Break that mould and peel back the layers to uncover what you see in this short film.

Calm yourself as you find your focus on the real details of these locations shift and heighten. Travel on foot through a handful of locations and remain grounded as you bear witness to unaltered sound and light captured through a wide lens on a small device, consider them your eyes.

This film is indeed a pure still and calm point of view, I want to alleviate you of as many distractions as possible. Expect no pretentious aesthetic through this, I want to respect your time as a viewer.

In a way, you can consider this at its heart an abandoning of imagination for truth.

I strive for this execution to be as clear-cut simple as its process, just a pocket camera in some locations.
