A NECESSARY CHOICE
At a certain point in his life Dominique Jean Paul Stanisci made a choice: to travel the world and find himself. His main focus was to discover the value of human dignity, and he found it where this value was destroyed. “ In these voyages I found that as a lotus flower rises from slime to flourish, in the same way human dignity comes from the worst places in the world”, Jean Paul said. Tutsi Genocide (Ruanda), Hiroshima (Giappone), Auschwitz (Polonia), Killing Fields (Cambogia) Alcatraz (California) Chernobyl (Ucraina), Ground Zero (New York). The choice of the author to travel to these places of suffering, realising the oxymoron of discovering the power of life, gives courage to those who don’t have it; on the other hand it shakes human awareness and tries to pose new questions to people.

UNA SCELTA NECESSARIA
A un certo punto della sua vita Dominique Jean Paul Stanisci ha fatto una scelta: partire alla scoperta del mondo e di se stesso. Con l’obiettivo di riscoprire il valore della dignità umana, è andato a ricercarlo nei luoghi in cui esso è stato maggiormente dissacrato. “Sono viaggi attraverso i quali ho scoperto che: così come il fior di loto cresce nella melma per fiorire candido, allo stesso modo la dignità umana emerge con ritrovata luce nei luoghi più bui”, testimonia Jean Paul. La scelta dell’autore di “viaggiare” in questi luoghi di sofferenza realizzando l’ossimoro della riscoperta della forza pulsante della vita, infonde speranza e coraggio a chi non ne ha; oltre a smuovere le coscienze inducendo lo spettatore a porsi nuovi interrogativi su cui ognuno dovrebbe riflettere.
