50 minute Gentle Vinyasa

Get your day started with this slow moving movement practice. We will start with a gentle warm-up and then move into some salutations. If you are not familiar with a traditional sun salutation A, I will write out the poses for you to reference if needed. We will only free flow this 2-3x so no worries if you just do your own thing instead. Enjoy!

Sun A

Mountain, reach arms over head

Forward Fold, hinge at the hips and let your torso hang toward the earth

Half Way Lift, find a straight spine, like a standing number 7 shape

Plank Pose, plant your hands down and step your feet back

Chaturanga, Bend your elbows and pause at a hover, kind of like a pushup but with your elbows tucked in by your ribcage

Upward dog, press into your hands, straighten your arms, reach your heart forward

Downward dog, pull your hips up and back, bend your knees, press your chest towards your knees

Travel to the top of your mat, find your forward fold
