This Sunday we travel with the Apostle Paul as he begins his second mission trip. When Paul is redirected by the vision of a man in Macedonia, he is challenged to change his plans and adapt his normal methods of sharing the Gospel. His willingness to move out of his comfort zone leads Paul to Philippi, where he meets up with and group of women having a prayer meeting by a river. Their prayer meeting soon becomes a service of Baptism and Confirmation when a businesswoman named Lydia hears and believes Paul’s message about Christ.
