2019 Travel Highlights

There’s nothing I want more right now than this sadness I feel from the stillness to leave me. Lockdown has a way of tethering to time and place. A knack for contemplation bordering on obsession. A reminder of the burden we all carry: that nothing actually really matters. I wake up. I stretch. I sit at my desk. Blue light illuminating my face until I can’t take it anymore. A pause, a walk, a coffee from the shop. It’s just not the same. Temporary scaffolding around my fragile frame to make the present seem less precarious. Hilarious at the irony of it all.
