1. Can you describe the place where you live?
I live with my family and my students in Hama Village, Gia Nghia City, DakNong Province. We cultivate specialties like coffee, pepper, avocado, and durian in this highland area.
2. Do you plan to live there for a long time? How long have you lived there?
I’ve lived here for almost seven years, and I plan to live here for the rest of my life. I feel fortunate to live here since the weather is fantastic for the whole day and I don’t need air condition or even a fan. I could sleep deeply, so when I wake up, I feel energized.
3. What do you usually do in your house?
We have a household manager, so I don’t do much housework. I spend most of my time teaching and taking care of my son. I practice Yoga with my husband in the afternoon. If I have free time, I often cook some of our favorite dishes for the whole family.
4. What room does your family spend most of the time in?
We spend time together in the living room and also a dining room. It’s a spacious area with a long and big table that the whole family can sit, have dinner, and chat. My husband often works there, and I work upstairs.
5. What part of your home do you like the most?
I love my working room since I could see the whole valley, clouds, trees, and birds singing every day. I spend time teaching online, recording online lessons the entire day.
6. Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?
I prefer to live in a house since it has space and is private. However, when I go to HCM, we often rent a flat on Airbnb.
7. Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
Yes, it’s pretty convenient. You could travel by airplane and depart in Buon Ma Thuot or Lien Khuong Airport. Then you could take an express bus to come to my place. It takes about 3-4 hours.
From HCMC, you could take a bus to our place; it’s about 3-4 hours, and more than 100 buses pass DakNong every day.
8. What kind of house or flat do you want to live in in the future?
As I mentioned before, I am a big fan of houses with spacious gardens. So, I would say that a detached house would be my favorite place to live.
