2.8 Steve Brandwood – Joining up addresses and streets, the value of lifecycle and change – a data centric approach.

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

Looking forward, working with partners
This session will focus on lifecycle content and processes to improve the timeliness of our data. Street naming and numbering, Improvement Schedules, PSGA data asks, stakeholder engagement and third-party data are all vital inputs. Speakers will outline the address management relationships with organisations such as the Department for Transport, the VOA, HM Land Registry, Royal Mail and other partners.

Speakers will discuss some of the key societal trends in areas such as the growth of electric vehicles and automated vehicles – reducing noise and air pollution and the drive to improve health with cycling and walking through active travel agenda. All of these have increasing the need for high quality geospatial data such as streets and addressing to both plan, record and publicise information.
